Will these fit you
One size, and the knit stretches a long way — in practice that covers roughly US 2 to 10. What changes with height is not whether they go on, but where the band ends up once they do.
| Under 5 ft 2 | Band sits high, close to mid-thigh, with short straps |
|---|---|
| 5 ft 2 to 5 ft 6 | Band above the knee with room to spare |
| 5 ft 6 to 5 ft 9 | Band around mid-thigh |
| Over 5 ft 9 | Band nearer the knee, still clear of the kneecap |
| Sizing | Runs true. Order what you usually wear |
How it is put together
A harness, not a pair of socks
Four straps leave the top bands and meet above the thigh. Each is stitched to its band on a flat seam, which is why there is no belt in the packet and nothing to clip.
One consequence is worth having before you add it to a cart: because the straps join, the two legs are a single garment. You cannot wear one.
Getting into them
Three steps
- Gather one leg down to the toe, then the other.
- Step into both at once and draw them up together.
- Settle each band at the height it reaches, then straighten the straps.
Rings catch fine nylon. Take them off first, and watch for rough nail edges.
Afterwards
Washing
Cold water by hand, dried flat. A machine cycle and a dryer both wreck the elastic in the band, and the band is the part doing the work.
Shoes, skirt and jacket shown are separate items. Intimate apparel arrives sealed for hygiene and cannot come back to us once that seal is broken.
