actually gives.

No measurements are published for this — no waist, no thigh, no length — so rather than invent a size chart we have gone through it part by part and said which bits stretch, which bits do not, and which one is the constraint. A net has very different tolerances at the waist than it does at the thigh, and knowing which is which is more useful than a number somebody made up.

Part	How much give
Waistband	A lot. It is a knitted band with no closure, so it opens wide and settles back. This is rarely the part that fails.
Belt body	High. Fishnet over the hip opens in every direction at once, which is why one size covers such a wide range here.
Suspender straps	Limited, and this is the real constraint. The straps are a fixed knitted length from belt to stocking top, so on a long torso or a long thigh they pull the belt down before the leg has finished going on.
Stocking top	Moderate. It has to grip, so it is knitted tighter than the leg. On a fuller thigh expect it to sit lower than photographed rather than to refuse.
Leg	Very high. The openwork panel opens further than the fine net around it, so the ovals widen as the leg fills them — the pattern gets bolder rather than distorting.
Foot	Not applicable. These end at the thigh; there is no foot.

The strap length is the honest answer to “will it fit me”. If you are long through the body, the belt will want to sit lower on the waist than it does in the photographs. Everything else on this garment has room.
